UWC Belgium Privacy Policy

This policy sets out UWC Belgium’s approach to data protection.

UWC Belgium is committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals and service users who come into contact with it. In order to carry out its work, UWC Belgium will at times need to collect and use certain types of information about these individuals or service users. This personal information will be collected and dealt with appropriately, whether it is stored in an electronic database, or recorded on other material.

UWC Belgium will process (sensitive) personal data where needed to carry out its activities. UWC understands the wide definition of “processing” and notes that it includes collecting, amending, handling, storing and disclosing personal information.

UWC Belgium will ensure that the specific conditions for processing (sensitive) personal data are met.

UWC Belgium will actively encourage data subjects to keep their data up to date and accurate and will ensure that there are easy methods by which they can do this. UWC Belgium will also ensure it undertakes appropriate checks to ensure data is kept up to date and accurate.

If you no longer wish to be kept periodically up to date UWC Belgium's events and news – please manage or modify your privacy settings by:

  2. This ”Privacy Management Request” page is needed, because we don’t want anyone but you to see your private data. Fill in your email and click the button “Send me a mail to manage my privacy”.
  3. If your email address is in the database, you will receive an email on this address. Click the link in the email.
  4. This secure link takes you to the privacy management page, from where you can revoke your consent (which implies the deletion of your account), unsubscribe from our mailing lists or contact us. You can also review or download your personal information on this page.
